- 2-inch IPS color screen replaces a traditional eyepiece
- 500X macro autofocus lens, no manual focus wheel needed
- 8 adjustable LEDs for even lighting on specimens
- Stores up to 200 photos; microSD slot for video (card not included)
- USB-C rechargeable, one-hand design built for ages 5-12
This is a screen-based digital microscope rather than an optical one, which makes it easier for young kids to use but means image quality depends on the sensor — reviews are mixed on clarity. It's sold by a third-party seller (AshflyOfficial) though shipped via Amazon Prime. At $12 after the code it's a reasonable low-stakes STEM gift; at full price it's less of a standout.
