Plumzoo collects price drops from US retailers. There is exactly one thing that separates it from most deal sites: a person opened the actual product page before any of these went up.
What a deal goes through
- Looking. Every day we go hunting for price drops at US retailers. Most of what turns up does not survive the next step — a discount off a price nobody was paying, a refurbished unit listed like a new one, a number that is only real if you buy two.
- A person decides. Someone opens the retailer’s page and looks: is that the real price, is it refurbished, is it a third-party seller, does it need an add-on to qualify for shipping. Not worth it means it gets dropped. This step is always a person. The system never does it.
What this site will not do
- Invent a list price, a discount percentage, or an all-time low.
- Pass off a manufacturer’s suggested price as a real former price.
- Claim “lowest ever” or “cheapest anywhere” — neither is verifiable here.
- Republish someone else’s forum copy.
- Pay readers cashback or referral bonuses for clicking.
- Publish anything automatically.
Common questions
- How are Plumzoo prices verified?
- By a person opening the retailer's own product page and looking at it — the price, the seller, the condition, the fine print — before anything is published. There is no automatic path to publication, including no "publish it if confidence is high enough".
- Why do some deals have no list price or discount percentage?
- Because the product page did not give a credible one. We do not pass off a manufacturer's suggested price as a real former price, and we do not calculate or fill in the gap. There is no price-history database behind this site yet, so when the number is not on the page, the field stays empty rather than guessed.
- Why never "lowest price ever"?
- Because we cannot verify it. That claim needs complete historical pricing, which this site does not have, so it is never made. If price history is added later and the claim becomes checkable, that will change.
- Is this reposted forum content?
- No. Every write-up is composed from the retailer's own product page, not from somebody else's description of it, and the link we publish is always the retailer page a person actually opened. Third-party affiliate tags found on a link are stripped before it goes up.
- How does Plumzoo make money, and does it affect what gets posted?
- Product links are affiliate links, marked rel="sponsored" as required, and we earn a commission when they are used. We do not run cashback, referral bonuses, or any scheme that pays readers for clicking — that is a hard requirement of the Amazon Associates terms, and it also means nobody here has a reason to inflate clicks.
- Do prices change?
- Constantly. The retailer's page is authoritative for price and stock, not this one. Every deal carries the date it was posted; please cite that date alongside any price.
