Plumzoo finds price drops at US retailers from many sources and checks every one against the retailer’s own product page before it goes up, so you spend less and don’t waste time on deals that aren’t real.
What a deal goes through
- Looking. We search many sources for price drops throughout the day. Most of what turns up does not survive the next step — a discount off a price nobody was paying, a refurbished unit listed like a new one, a number that is only real if you buy two.
- Checking. Every deal is checked against the retailer’s own product page: the real price, the seller, the condition, the fine print.
- Keeping it current. We re-check published deals regularly. As soon as a deal is found to be over, its page says so.

Our own price data
Alongside the deals, we keep price trackers for products people watch closely — AirPods, iPad, MacBook, game consoles, graphics cards and more. We read each retailer’s product page on a schedule and keep every confirmed price with the date we read it. Around the big sales we read them daily and publish what prices actually did.
What this site will not do
- Invent a list price, a discount percentage, or an all-time low.
- Pass off a manufacturer’s suggested price as a real former price.
- Claim “lowest ever” or “cheapest anywhere” — neither is verifiable here.
- Republish someone else’s forum copy.
- Pay readers cashback or referral bonuses for clicking.
- Keep presenting a price as current more than 14 days after it was checked.
Common questions
- How are Plumzoo prices verified?
- Every deal is checked against the retailer's own product page before it goes up — the price, the seller, the condition, the fine print.
- Why do some deals have no list price or discount percentage?
- Because the product page did not give a credible one. We do not pass off a manufacturer's suggested price as a real former price, and we do not calculate or fill in the gap. There is no price-history database behind this site yet, so when the number is not on the page, the field stays empty rather than guessed.
- Why never "lowest price ever"?
- Because we cannot verify it. That claim needs complete historical pricing, which this site does not have, so it is never made. If price history is added later and the claim becomes checkable, that will change.
- How does Plumzoo make money, and does it affect what gets posted?
- Outbound product links are marked rel="sponsored". Some may be affiliate links, and where they are we may earn a commission when you buy, at no cost to you. We do not run cashback, referral bonuses, or any scheme that pays readers for clicking — that is a hard requirement of the Amazon Associates terms, and it also means nobody here has a reason to inflate clicks.
- Do prices change?
- Constantly. The retailer's page is authoritative for price and stock, not this one. Every deal carries the date it was posted; please cite that date alongside any price.
- What happens to a deal once it ends?
- The page stays up and says the deal has ended. Nothing is deleted — the product, the write-up and the link are still there, and a list of what is currently on sits alongside it. A price also stops being presented as current 14 days after it was posted, even if nobody has told us it ended. When we re-read the retailer's page and the price still holds, that can extend to a week past the re-check — but no further without another one.
