- IP44 waterproof boxes seal cord connections against rain, snow, and dust
- Fits 12/14/16 gauge cords with a 0.47" cable entry hole
- 4 lockable latches, 2 cable clamps, and 2 cable ties keep connections secure
- No installation needed — open, place cord inside, latch shut
- Good for string lights, holiday decorations, garden tools, and pool pumps
A simple fix for the extension cord junction that always ends up sitting in a puddle: six lockable, waterproof boxes for under $2.50 each. Reviewers note the boxes run a bit larger than expected and the rubber seal can be finicky to close evenly, so take care to seat it fully for real weatherproofing. Fine for seasonal lighting or garden tools, not a plug-and-forget solution for a permanent outdoor outlet.
