JBL Professional 308P MkII 8" Powered Studio Monitor

Sweetwater Sound via Amazon has JBL Professional 308P MkII 8" Powered Studio Monitor, Black on sale for $149.00. Shipping is free.

By Plumzoo · Posted October 14, 2026. Price confirmed at Amazon on October 29.

Sold individually, not as a pair — you'll need two for stereo monitoring
8" woofer and 1" tweeter deliver 112W total power from dual Class-D amps
Balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs with adjustable input sensitivity and volume
JBL's Image Control Waveguide and Slip Stream port aim for a wide sweet spot and deep bass
Part of the 3 Series MkII lineup, which also includes 5" and 6" versions at lower prices

This is JBL's well-reviewed 8" nearfield monitor at its standard $149 price, not a markdown — remember it ships one speaker, so a stereo pair means buying two. It's sold and shipped by Sweetwater Sound through Amazon rather than Amazon itself, though returns are still handled by Amazon's 30-day policy. Solid pick for a home studio upgrade if you don't already own one.
