- Drop-forged alloy steel jaws, heat treated for cutting soft and medium-hard metals up to 32HRC
- Center cut, compound action jaws for clean, precise cuts through locks, chains, screws and wire
- S25C steel handles with rubber grips for a comfortable, secure hold during extended use
- Also sold in 14, 18, 28, 36 and 48-inch sizes for lighter or heavier cutting jobs
- Backed by a limited lifetime warranty from Olympia Tools, est. 1973
At $16.62 this is a solid price for a 24-inch bolt cutter, and it's sold and shipped by Amazon directly rather than a third party. Reviewers are split on long-term durability — some report chipped or bent blades — so treat it as a capable cutter for soft-to-medium metals and padlocks, not a tool for hardened steel.
