Graphics Card prices, compared

Updated · Prices re-checked weekly · tracking since Oct 8, 2026

The current NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 and AMD Radeon RX 9000 cards, one row per graphics chip. Through 2026 these have sold well above the list prices NVIDIA and AMD set, so every price here also says how far it sits from list. Each row is a partner card (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, PNY, PowerColor and others) sold by the retailer itself, not by a marketplace seller; the card is named under each shop, and every price is dated.

Which Graphics Card should you buy?

List price is not a reliable guide this year. Check the gap shown under each price: a card selling 20% over list is a better buy than one selling 60% over, even if the second has the lower list price.

The RX 9070 XT and RTX 5070 Ti are the two cards most people weigh for high-refresh 1440p and for 4K. NVIDIA’s list price is $150 higher, and in shops the gap has been wider than that — compare the two tables before deciding.

Buy the 16GB versions of the RTX 5060 Ti and RX 9060 XT. Both chips also come with 8GB, which is cheaper and tighter for newer games; the 16GB versions are the ones tracked here.

The RTX 5070 has 12GB of memory; every other card on this page has 16GB.

Different partner cards on the same chip perform within a few percent of each other. Paying a lot extra for a premium cooler rarely buys much speed; buy the cheapest card from a brand you trust that fits your case.

Graphics Card price questions

What is the cheapest Graphics Card right now?

Radeon RX 9060 XT (16GB) at $542.99 from Amazon, as of our check on Oct 16, 2026. The tables above have every model and retailer.

Why are graphics cards so expensive right now?

Through 2026, new graphics cards have sold well above NVIDIA’s and AMD’s list prices, amid a shortage of the memory chips the cards use. We do not try to predict when that ends; the weekly readings on this page show it when it does.

What is the list price of the RTX 5070 Ti?

NVIDIA lists the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti from $749. Partner cards at retailers are in its table above, with how far each sits from that figure.

What is the list price of the RX 9070 XT?

AMD set a suggested price of $599 for the Radeon RX 9070 XT, and $549 for the RX 9070. AMD does not sell its own version in the US; every RX 9070 card is made by a partner.

Is it better to wait for prices to drop?

Nobody can tell you when prices will fall. If you need a card now, compare the gap to list across the chips on this page and buy the one that is closest to its list price for the performance you want.

How we check these prices

Every price on this page was read from the retailer’s own product page (NVIDIA, Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, AMD), and every page is re-read once a week. The date beside each price is the day it was last confirmed. List prices come from the manufacturer’s own store; struck-through prices are the retailer’s own “was” price, never one we worked out. Out-of-stock listings stay in the table, marked, and never count as the lowest price. When a page cannot be read reliably, the previous price stays up with its original date rather than being guessed.

We earn a commission through retailer affiliate links. Price and stock are set by the retailer, not by us.
