Meta Smart Glasses prices, compared

Updated · Prices re-checked weekly · tracking since Aug 13, 2026

Meta’s smart-glasses lineup. Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) went on sale on September 23, 2026 from $449; retailers are still adding listings, so its row starts with Ray-Ban’s own price and fills in as they do. Gen 2 stays below it for as long as it’s sold. The Display model wants an in-person fit appointment and isn’t sold on Amazon, Walmart or Target at all, so its row shows only the one confirmed price.

Which Meta Smart Glasses should you buy?

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is the one to buy new: longer battery life (up to nine hours, per Meta), a customizable action button, and more frame styles, including the Aviator. It lists $70 higher than Gen 2 did at launch.

Gen 2 is the value pick if a retailer is clearing it well below its list price — the camera, speakers and Meta AI features are the same idea, with shorter battery life.

Meta Ray-Ban Display is a different product: a small in-lens display and the Neural Band wrist controller, fitted in person. Buy it for the display, not as an upgrade to the audio-and-camera glasses.

How we check these prices

Every price on this page was read from the retailer’s own product page (Ray-Ban, Meta, Best Buy, Amazon, Target), and every page is re-read once a week. The date beside each price is the day it was last confirmed. List prices come from the manufacturer’s own store; struck-through prices are the retailer’s own “was” price, never one we worked out. Out-of-stock listings stay in the table, marked, and never count as the lowest price. When a page cannot be read reliably, the previous price stays up with its original date rather than being guessed.

We earn a commission through retailer affiliate links. Price and stock are set by the retailer, not by us.
