Aluminum latch lock rated to withstand 800 lbs of force, aimed at kick-in resistance
Only works on inward-swinging doors — check your door's swing before buying
Includes 8 screws (4 long, 4 short) and an installation manual; mounts with a drill in minutes
No tools needed to open from the inside, useful as a childproofing or elderly-safety latch
2-pack in Silver with a chrome finish; other colors and pack sizes are priced separately

This is a simple mechanical add-on lock, not a smart lock or deadbolt replacement, so treat the 800 lb claim as resistance to kicking rather than a security guarantee. It only fits doors that swing inward, and reviewers are split on long-term durability and how easy the latch is to work one-handed. At $12 for two after the code, it's a cheap way to add a layer of security or childproofing to interior or apartment doors.
