- Metal construction rated to withstand 800 lbs of force against kicks
- Installs with 8 included screws (4 long, 4 short) using a drill and chisel
- Works only on inward-swinging doors with a flat interior and at least 1/8" gap at the frame
- Compact size: 3.1"L x 2.6"W x 1.3"H in silver chrome finish
- Includes 5-year after-sale service from EverPlus
This is a basic add-on lock, not a deadbolt replacement — good for keeping toddlers or pets from slipping out an inward-swinging front door, not for serious home defense. It's sold by EverPlus LLC through Amazon rather than Amazon itself, and the $6.50 price only applies after entering the code at checkout; without it you're paying the regular $9.99.
